Euromembrane 2012 EMS Best Presenting Student Awards

EMS encourages the participation of students in important scientific events by offering awards to the best presenting students (oral and poster).

The Euromembrane 2012 EMS Best Presenting Students Awards will be given to four oral presenting students and four poster presenting students according to the following guidelines:

Eligibility: The Awards are intended for students who are the presenting authors of either oral or poster presentations. A proof of studentship or certificate from the sending institution indicating that the candidate is a student is also needed.

Application: Candidates should indicate at the time of submitting their abstract their interest in participation.

A panel of referees will evaluate the presentations during the conference. The criteria will include: quality of the presentation (supporting visuals and speech), knowledge of the topic and ability of answer questions.

The announcement of the awardees will be made at the closure of the conference. Awarded students will receive a diploma, free student membership to the EMS and a bank check with the monetary price (500 euro).

Awardees agree, upon participation, to write a short report on their paper and their overall impression of the conference to be published on the EMS Membrane News.
